Ultimate Warrior
(Mental Health)

Based on the principals of Gen Sun Tzu in the Art of War , the class explores the use of de-escalation techniques. Treating all human beings with Dignity and Respect is the first step to de-escalating any conflict. The course focuses on recognizing the signs of mental illness and the signs preceding an escalation of behavior. A majority of incidents can be averted by recognizing that our own biases and feelings are triggers and attempting to de-escalate while treating the other party with dignity and respect. The impact of physical restraint or altercations is costly in both personal injuries and litigation. Course principles are reinforced through the use of scenarios for practical application. “The Supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting”-Sun Tzu
